Honoring your placenta, supporting your postpartum journey.

Postpartum care should be intentional and individualized. Your placenta is prepared using food safety protocols and comes with the options to include carefully selected supportive herbs traditionally used for mood support, milk production, and nourishment to support your transition into motherhood.

Our process

From pickup to delivery, every step is handled with care, safety, and respect.

Your placenta is packed with vitamins and nutrients such as B6, B12, and iron, as well as progesterone and estrogen, which both fluctuate significantly after birth. Consuming your placenta can help aid in postpartum recovery by balancing your hormonal and nutrient deficit post birth.

01

We will collect your placenta within 24 hours after birth.

02

If we do not collect your placenta immediately after birth, please refrigerate it to maintain temperature until pickup.

03

We encapsulate and return your capsules within 3 days. You may add herbs to support recovery and milk production — at no extra cost.

04

We personally deliver your capsules so you don’t have to leave the comfort of home.
Each placenta is prepared individually in our sanitized studio using a careful, time-tested method.

01

We begin by steaming the placenta to 180°F.

02

It’s placed in a double boiler with ginger and lemon — their antibacterial properties, along with steaming, ensure surface bacteria is removed.

03

Once cooled, the umbilical cord and remaining membranes are removed, and the placenta is sliced into 1/4 inch strips for dehydration.

04

The dehydrated placenta is then ground and encapsulated, then packaged ready for consumption.
Consuming your placenta can have the following benefits:

01

Increased energy and less fatigue.

02

Hormonal balance, decreasing chances of postpartum depression.

03

Increased milk supply.

04

Decreased postpartum bleeding.

05

Increased iron levels and blood building, helping prevent anemia.

06

Capsules are bottled and delivered with an instructional manual to guide consumption and storage.

Safety first

We follow rigorous bloodborne pathogen and food-safety protocols. Our studio is sanitized between every client, and equipment is used for a single placenta at a time. Encapsulation is a personal choice; we share information openly so you can decide what feels right for your family.
