Your Birth Midwifery is led by Kristi Reed — a practicing midwife and the founder of Your Birth Doula Services. After years of supporting families as a doula, Kristi pursued midwifery to offer families the same warm, relationship-centered care across the full arc of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Kristi blends years of clinical experience with the unhurried, family-first approach her community already knows and trusts. Every prenatal visit is in your home, without a rigid timeline, and usually around an hour long. Every birth is attended by your midwife who knows you and has followed your pregnancy, giving personalized prenatal care. Every postpartum visit is in the comfort of your home & held with the same tenderness as your birth.
Whether you’re planning a home birth, wanting co-care, or simply exploring your options, you’ll find a midwife here who listens deeply, shares information openly, and walks with you — every step of the way.
At Your Birth Midwifery, we believe pregnancy and birth are deeply personal experiences that deserve compassionate, respectful and individualized care. We take the time to build meaningful relationships with our clients, providing support, education, and skilled care throughout pregnancy, birth & postpartum. We strive to create a space where families feel heard, informed, and confident as they navigate their unique journey into parenthood.
From the first prenatal visit to those quiet weeks at home with your newborn, we hold the space so you can focus on what matters most: your baby, your body, and your family.
Longer visits, often in the comfort of your own home, allow us to truly know you-your story, your goals & your family. By understanding your lifestyle, values and needs, we can provide personalized care that supports you throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
We honor birth as a natural, sacred process — supporting your body's wisdom & the physiological process that it is. Through patience, presence, and respect for the normal progression of labor, we create an environment where families can birth with confidence, comfort and trust in their own abilities.
Up-to-date training and continuing education guiding you & providing informed consent, clear information, discussing all available options ensuring you have the knowledge needed to make informed decisions without pressure, fear or coercion.
We believe safety and individualized care go hand in hand. Through careful screening, ongoing assessment, & attentive monitoring throughout pregnancy, labor & postpartum, we strive to identify concerns early and respond appropriately. Collaborating with higher levels of care when needed to ensure you receive the right care at the right time.
